About Us

In response to growing community and regional outpatient imaging needs, Excel Imaging opened for business in April of 2007. 

Although we have a new name, Excel Imaging's staff has provided radiological services to patients in the Triad Region of North Carolina for over 40 years, the result of a merger of the regional outpatient imaging resources of Novant Health and Forsyth Radiological Associates.

Excel Imaging combines the former Novant Health outpatient imaging facilities:

  • The Breast Clinic
  • Winston-Salem Healthcare Radiology
  • Salem MRI

With the former Forsyth Radiological Associate’s (FRA) outpatient radiology clinics:

  • Maplewood Imaging Center
  • Greystone Imaging Center
  • Kernersvile Imaging Center
