Women's Services

The Breast Clinic has a long-standing history of providing breast related health services to women in northwest North Carolina.  Although part of Forsyth Medical Center Imaging only since 2007,  The Breast Clinic has been providing mammography services to women since the 1970’s.

Services at The Breast Clinic are provided by board certified radiologists who sub-specialize in diagnostic mammography.  These services are provided using state-of-the-art digital mammography equipment in an environment that is focused on women’s health.

Our goal is to create awareness of preventive measures for women of all ages.  Diagnostic exams and patient education are areas of high priority that all members of The Breast Clinic staff maintain as their primary focus.

We have two registered nurses who serve as Nurse Navigators to guide the patient through her breast care.   They offer emotional support to the patient and explain what the patient might expect at the time of her exam.   Good communication and follow-up are important, and our Nurse Navigators are an available resource to our patients. 

Whether you are coming to The Breast Clinic for your annual exam or to follow-up for a more serious concern, you will receive the professional and personal attention of the radiologists and our staff.  We believe that communication is a vital part of the process, and as a patient of The Breast Clinic, you can be assured that all your questions will be answered clearly.  We will strive to make your experience with us one that is pleasant and uncomplicated.
